All my original, copyrighted work is hand cut using surgical scissors. I use either French silhouette paper or white text weight paper, with colored art papers occasionally layered for focal points. All papers and mats are acid free. Frames compliment the work, with many being shadow box style to allow the cuttings to be somewhat dimensional.

"7 Fall Trees with Underlay of Color"
This layered paper cutting has a top layer of handcut black silhouette paper and an under layer of colored papers. The hollow leaf cut border has an under layer of colored papers; framed in a 12" x 16" shadow box frame to allow the trees to be dimensional. $750.

A layered cutting - the base is one piece of black silhouette paper. The flowers have 2 additional layers of colored paper to give the dimensional effect. Calligraphy is in white ink. This design has the verse from

"The Bees"
Border and cells cut from one piece of black silhouette paper; under layer of art paper. The bees are cut and applied to the cells so they are dimensional. Little messages (Be kind; Be helpful; Be truthful.....etc.) are added in calligraphy in a few of the cells. Framed in a 16" x 16" frame.
