"Scherenschnitte" translates literally as "scissor cutting". The word also describes the Swiss-German artistic tradition of cutting a single piece of paper, using scissors. I learned this time-consuming art from my grandmother. My work is reflective of the intricate European technique but with American themes.My work has been on exhibition all over the world and I have been awarded the title of "Master Craftsman".
